Sparrow Cafe — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Excellent service by both of the young woman working there mid day on a Thursday. However I am absolutely disgusted by the way in which the woman who appears to be the owner spoke to and treated these girls who seem to run the place for her. I have been here several times and I always leave feeling great and these girls make the best coffee in Auckland but sadly I won't be coming back because I don't want to support a business who treats their staff with such low regard. I hope those two girls find a better place to work and leave that woman to her...

Food and coffee was sadly extremely disappointing but they said they are getting a new chef so we probably just came at a bad time when they are trying to make do with no proper chef and new staff. They didn’t have pho which is what we came for so we tried vermicelli which turned out to be nothing like the menu at all, coffee was not as good we what we can make at home, the pie seemed like it was microwaved or something, quite soggy but tasted good. But delightful little cafe in the middle of car dealership road. Everything was fresh and delicious. But the scones and pies really stood out. The eggs Benedict is one of their most popular dishes and lived up to its reputation definitely yeah nice little place to meet friends or grab a quiet bite.
