The Snö, nestled within a stunning glass building, exuded an aura of elegance. Upon stepping inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. While I had previously enjoyed their delectable offerings through multiple UberEats orders, numbering around 3 to 4 times, I had yet to experience the joy of dining in person. The prospect of visiting the café had always intrigued me, as it meant immersing myself not only in the flavors but also in the complete dining experience, including the quality of service.

During my inaugural visit to Snö, I was pleasantly surprised. The long black coffee I ordered was a masterpiece in itself, boasting a perfect temperature, tantalizing aroma, and an incredible taste. It stood out as one of the best coffees I have ever had the pleasure of sipping in Auckland.

Moving on to the main course, my wife indulged in a delightful dish from their enticing winter special menu, while I opted for a tantalizing choice from their regular menu. As our plates arrived, we were captivated by the meticulous plating, showcasing the chef's artistry. Each dish was a harmonious blend of flavors, carefully prepared to tantalize our taste buds. The food surpassed our previous experiences with delivery, as it was served at the ideal temperature, allowing us to relish every bite. FOOD: Charcoal chicken does not look appetising if it’s your first time (the burn can look a bit off putting) but BOY was it nice! The pork floss was kinda random though. Didn’t taste like anything to me. And the Kumara chips made me chuckle, they were WAY thinner than I thought they were gonna be. All in all it was a tasty meal.

SERVICE: My tables service? All good. The one next to us? BAD. VERY BAD. The young waiter gentleman was walking over to them and I saw him drop two pieces of chicken. He looked down and noticed but continued to walk over and serve the customers. The customers were unaware of the whole ordeal. On his way back I watched him pick up the two pieces of chicken from the ground and walk off. At this point I’m thinking oh maybe he’s just going to get more or compensate them. But 5 mins passes and nothing has been done. I tell the customers at the table about what happened and they call the waiter back over. He says to them “Oh? Really? I didn’t notice it had dropped. Sorry about that. I’ll get them to make some more.”

Awesome cafe, just opened up, by the owners of Dear Jervois. The ambience is very nice, feels very warm and clean, bright and friendly. There is a bunch of different tables that would suit anyone, from a couple to a large party. The menu is quite large, so there is a choice for everyone. We ordered a smash avo and a blueberry waffles, both of which were delicious. Coffee os good too. There are a couple of things we didn’t like. Maybe it was that time of the year, or something, but there were a bunch of little flies in the cafe, that were continuously landing on or food and cutlery, getting in the way of enjoying the food. It was pretty loud inside, too loud to talk normally to each other, so I would suggest grabbing a table outside. However you would have to wait around 10-15 min for the table, as it’s super popular at the moment. Also being so packed all the time, staff keeps making small mistakes like not bringing u water, or misplacing a cup of coffee u ordered 30 min ago. All of these will be fixed in time I’m sure, and it will be an awesome place to grab some breakfast on...
