A family member had pre ordered via phone for pick up x2 cheesy garlic pizzas this evening.
Upon arrival to the store the family member saw there were three customers in line so he stood aside and waited at the other end of the counter to pick up his pre order as he has done over the last two years on a weekly basis.
The female staff member served the three customers whilst another staff member retrieved pizzas from the warmer calling out customers names to collect their orders. The family member asked the female staff if he could collect his pre order. She replied abruptly" Oh well, you'll have to get in line" and also asked" Have they been paid for?". He replied "No here is my payment it was ordered over the phone" The female staff member repeated "You'll have to get in line" .
In great surprise the family member did not know what to say. A mature gentlemen (customer) interjected and advised the female staff the family member had been waiting longer than anybody else. The female staff asked the family member "Is that true?" He replied "Yes you heard the gentlemen" It was only after that the family members order was found and served.
After purchasing from this store on a weekly basis over the last two years the family member felt embarrassed by the treatment from the female staff member. Also when the family member was supported by another customer who had also been waiting, she supposed the family member was lying.
Lastly upon arriving home to enjoy the order we found the pizzas to be incorrect. One is fine but the other has tomato sauce which was not ordered as per the picture and receipt attached. After the treatment at the store the family member did not feel comfortable to return the pizzas.
The family member suggests a change in operational procedure that has two staff members at the counter. One taking orders and issuing pre orders...
Read moreI wish I could do 0 star's. I don't mind the food but the driver came up my driveway and left, didn't even get out of his car!!! I'm so angry he just left. I have young kids that would love to enjoy a treat, now I have get a taxi to pick up the after I paid for delivery. I rung the landline 30 times and I'm not kidding, no answer. I can't afford this, I don't care if their is a staff shortage if the driver came to my house and drove up the driveway. UPDATE I WENT ALL THE WAY INTO TO TOWN ON A TAXI ON MY OWN MONEY BECAUSE MY CHILDREN WERE SO HUNGRY FOR THERE ONCE A YEAR CHRISTMAS TREAT.
