Went today at around 1400+ hr and was seated near the counter and kitchen door, thus I was able to witness one of the staff that's in the counter uses same glove on her left hand (right hand is bare) while she's cleaning the counter, taking orders and serving it, making drinks, and handling the bake goodies (arranging it in the food cabinet). She didn't use thongs to arrange/ handle the bake goodies in the food cabinet. She didn't changed gloves when she holds the bake goodies after she cleaned the top of the food cabinet with disposable cloth or hold other stuff (like scissors etc). She even wash that disposable cloth but never remove her glove, then hold the croissant for a take away. Clearly, she's contaminating the food with the way she's handling it. It's so unhygienic that after witnessing that, I really lose my appetite cos she's the one who prepared our drinks as well. I told the other staff about it so she can be called out as I feel that maybe she's just not aware of it? Hopefully, this matter wont be repeated again by making sure that all staff will use thongs or changing gloves to avoid food...
Read moreCame in just after the cafe had opened, not much was out. Instead of staff getting everything out and ready - they were stood on their phones talking. Ordered just before 8 after waiting for them to get ready (they still werenât ready but we were getting sick of waiting) was $23 for a matcha and a crookie. Not worth it at all in my opinion. Matcha was small, didnât have much matcha taste and took almost 10 minutes to make (we were the only customers). Crookie was average the person who served me didnât offer to heat it up and rolled her eyes when I asked for a bag.
Not worth the price, may look good online but not worth the spend. Staff are unorganised and donât seem to care about customer satisfaction....

The second visit was eight months later: The Dubai chocolate croissant, pistachio cream croissant, and banoffee pie were tastyâespecially impressive on a rainy day when youâd expect a soggy croissant, but it was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The croissant filling was enjoyable, with crunchy kataifi balanced out some sweetness. I appreciated them more having tried to make similar treats at home. The only downside was that they were a bit too sweet for my taste, and the chocolate proportion felt a...
