I went there for lunch with my colleagues. We stumbled this shop and weren't sure if the food is good or not. I decided to order lamb curry with the sambal chilli 🌶 and it really spice up the food. It was hot 🔥 but very nice. Plenty of flavours and the portion size was big (not huge, but the whole plate 🍽 was filled with the meat 🍖 and veges and rice 🍚.
There is no washroom to wash your hands 👐 or doing your #1 or #2 😄😆. Anyway, the nearest washroom will be located at the central bus 🚍 terminal/ exchange.
Plenty of parking 🅿 at the surrounding area. However, as this stall is situated next to the busy road (i.e. Colombo Street), it will gets dusty during dry days.
There were three tables and a handful of chairs. I do recommend that you get a table before ordering the food if you want to dine in. If not, then you need to do a takeaway.
They accept cash, EFTPOS and credit card payments, for those who want to know.
The owner was super friendly and cheerful. He gave me extra sambal chilli 🌶.
Would I go back? Yes 😏 Would I recommend? Yes 😊

Amazing service, amazing food. The current restaurant takes a bit of getting used to, it's pretty posh and felt somewhat sterile. Having said that, it took absolutely nothing away from the enjoyment!
UPDATE (6 Sept '25) we tried the Lump Rice for the first time. Oh boy, this is my new favourite. Huge serving and amazing flavours. Cooking in banana leaves imparted amazing aroma, reminiscent of my childhood growing up in Indonesia.
Thanks guys, keep up the...
Read moreI ordered the Rice on Curry Combo for $25.50, which includes 2 non-veg curries and 2 vegetarian curries. However, they only gave me pieces, not actual curry. When I called to explain, the owner was on the phone, didn’t listen to me properly, and cut the call as if he was in a hurry. I called again to clarify what I wanted. When I went to the shop, no one greeted me or acknowledged me, even though I am a regular customer who comes once a month. I think they really need to change their attitude. I don’t recommend to anyone ...
