15 March 2019 - I came here for lunch with friends. We were greeted by a friendly staff and she showed us to our seats. This is a relatively new hospo establishment 🍽️, opened in August/ Sept 2018. You can access this site through the front door or through the side entrance from the driveway. There is an outdoor area which is divided into two areas; smoking 🚬 and non-smoking 🚭. The smoking area is smaller while the non-smoking 🚭 has a larger area with retractable louvres.

Anyway, I ordered a Tiger 🐯 beer 🍺 on tap (which was nice and cold ❄️) and I ordered caesar salad with chicken 🐔. It was topped with grated cheese (yummy 😋👍). The taste is good and the portion size is reasonable for me. I didn’t order any sides as I need to have some space for me beers 🍺!

This is a licensed eatery and you can order alcoholic drinks 🍻🍸🍷🍾🍹🍺. There is a gaming machine area for people who is feeling lucky.

There are car parks 🅿 located at the back of the building. It is accessible from Nelson Street.

They accept cash, EFTPOS and credit card payments (yes, Paywave is available), for those who want to know.

I took my 12 year old for lunch today at the Riccarton Robbie’s. The staff member on duty was awesome, very friendly and great service. Unfortunately, that’s where the excellence ended. I ordered the roast of the day (pork) and Master 12 ordered buffalo wings. The “roast” was way over cooked-the meat was so tough I couldn’t even cut it with the sharp knives supplied. The vegetables were watery, and gross. The potatoes and other roast veges were ok. Nothing to write home about though, and the gravy was very obviously granules or packet mix. Thick, and tasteless. Probably the worst roast of the day I’ve ever had. Master 12’s wings were good at least. When I politely let the staff member know, she was apologetic (completely not her fault!) and offered me a dessert, which I declined-just personal preference, I don’t eat dessert. I would much rather have been offered a refund TBH. But at least I’ve discovered somewhere I most definitely won’t be...

Our night out here was less than impressive. The place looks amazing and some of the tables have personal TVs. The staff were very nice. Unfortunately that's were the good ended, what really let this place down was the food which was quite poor, my mum's roast was very odd beef with potatoes and a garden salad and the beef was tough. I had the fish and chips which was just ok, the fish was not the melt in your mouth type and the fries were caked in salt. I guess the only nice thing was the ice cream sundae that my 8 year old daughter had. Also the day and time we were there Saturday 6pm 23 March was not a good day to take our daughter as there was a large and very loud group of idiots smoking just outside so when leaving we had to walk though all the smoke as well as them swearing at each other.
