A concerning observation unfolded during my visit to this establishment, raising serious doubts about the hygiene standards in the kitchen. Specifically, a senior kitchen staff member was witnessed touching cooked eggs with bare hands immediately after scratching parts of her face. This unhygienic practice is especially alarming considering the eggs were ready to be served to customers.

Furthermore, the senior staff member, potentially the head chef, appeared to be in charge, issuing instructions to servers at a volume that could be heard across the entire dining area. What's even more disconcerting is that these directives were given without the use of a mask, potentially allowing respiratory droplets to be dispersed onto the breakfast items.

Such lapses in hygiene and safety protocols are not only unappetizing but also pose a significant risk to the health of patrons. It's imperative for food establishments to uphold stringent hygiene standards to ensure the well-being of their customers. Visited Drexels for brunch today, for the first time in about 2 years. Initial impression was that the Establishment was well managed and Staff professionally attired in new and matching uniforms, and were very friendly and helpful. Food was of a high standard and of generous proportions, with a pleasant variety on the menu. Restaurant was full when we arrived, but we had booked a table for two, which we were shown to within 5 minutes. Definitely recommend pre-booking your table to avoid a potentially long wait. Remember, if the restaurant wasn't popular, you could probably walk in and get a table. If it's an instant service and mass produced food that you want, go to a Drive In or Fast Food Takeway, NOT here. If it takes a little longer to be served, order some coffee, peruse the menu, and indulge in conversation with the rest of your Party. Sure, it's a bit noisy inside, but that's the sound of happy people enjoying good food with other people they want to be with. Absolutely love this place for breakfast!!! Wonderful customer service from Tania Wilson as I wasn't feeling too good on the day I went in and then she noticed and put us somewhere more quiet and secluded it was great, just what I expect when it comes to customer service 😊 our waitress was Emma Ham and she was vibrant and full of energy and knows how to make conversation, we had a good chat as she had an accent, she is here on working visa and reckon she came to the right place (new Zealand) I'm a huge critic and wouldn't normally do this but Emma wanted to come here and work and she is doing it well, I highly suggest Tania or Emma to work within your establishment as they have passion and drive for work 😊🤗 I only have one complaint and that is the hot chocolate, I love my hot chocolate, chocolaty with heaps of chocolate but my hot chocolate tasted like milk 😑 waffles were delicious and so was the breakfast, rest of the food is amazing and will be definitely going back there again and again and...
