LOVED EVERYTHING WE ORDERED!

I cancelled a booking for another restaurant just to come here and I was not disappointed.

The server, chef and other kitchen staff accomodated our request for alcohol-free drink (sweet yet decadent) and the rice pudding dessert (balanced with authentic-inspired mexican spices) 🍸🍚

We ordered: the tomato soup 🍅🥣 - felt like a warm hug truly unique with balanced flavours especially liked the tortilla incorporated into the dish

guac and chips 🥑 - a fresher take on the classic… i think it just needed a bit more onion, seasoning and coriander fish taco 🐟 - was fishy at first bite but was after the second bite everything was awesome and the fillings make it all well balanced brisket taco 🐮- i loved the pickled onion topping added a nice zing to each bite Lamb barbacoa taco 🐑 - the star of the show, especially in new zealand and in the canterbery region where lamb is their specialty definitely a must try here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chicken alpastor taco 🐓 - the pineapple was a lovely feature to the taco but i think it needed some bell peppers and the chicken pieces were smaller in a shredded way

Definitely would come again!!! I respect a restaurant that values their guests requests rather than saying we cant modify and they did just that even on a packed night! They also served a lovely corn-style focaccia with butter as a complementary palette...

Absolutely phenomenal food. My partner has been wanting g to try the food here for a while and we decided ot was time. It was a spectacular decision. We had the jalapeño cheese cornbread and the queso fundido both were delicious. I can't stress enough how tasty both were, but the queso with the chorizo was so memorable. We also tried all the tacos and they were all amazing, the fish taco was perfect, the chicken taco with the grilled pineapple was fresh and delicious, the beef taco was also amazing but the stand out winner of the delicious taco awards was the lamb. I can't describe any of these well enough. Just go there, give them money and at this stage I'd say try anything from the menu. I can't imagine anything being disappointing as literally everything we ate was a hit. A+ out of ten, will eat again. More menu to try. We also had some brilliant desserts and delicious cocktails.

First time checking it out with my Veg bro, we have tried pretty much everything on the menu, the only few items we didn't have was anything meat based (tacos & short ribs) the atmosphere was nice and cozy although the space were quite small, it was enough to enjoy a nice relaxing dinner without being overwhelm by the crowd. The service was great with the lady's first day on the job, she did amazing job to look after the whole place. The pace and the flow of food were constant without us being left with hunger. There were no empty table on the night we were there. The wine choices was quite limited but understandable for the size of the place and it pairs well enough with the food offerings.

Overall comment: great food (taste and texture were well balance, only the choc mouse with the orange flan was slightly overpowering but still goes well with the flan), good atmosphere, amazing service from both waitress and chef. Reasonable price. Recommendation AA+, especially if you've got a...
