Small Chilean restaurant run and owned by a lovely couple. The atmosphere is great with outdoor and indoor seating not far from Takapuna beach and live music with talented regular musician Ricky to add to the vibe.

The evenings to late night are the best time to visit if you want to experience this atmosphere. Otherwise, the food and location are great anytime!

Amazing experience at El Origen! We tried everything: empanadas, pastel de choclo, sopaipillas, as italiano, mechada italiana, teas… and everything was absolutely delicious! It felt like homemade comfort food.

The place is beautiful, cozy, and full of lovely details — from the decor to the live music, everything made us feel at home. Honestly, it felt like getting a warm hug while being fed amazing food.

Also super kid-friendly! They were so kind and attentive to our 3-year-old daughter. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!
