Gong cha (Takapuna) — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

I used to go here almost weekly for about 5 months. Every maybe 3rd or 4th time they would make a mistake. Order no ice get ice, missing foam, missing pudding, wrong size, warm when ask cold. They gave black tea to my bf when he's allergic to caffeine and he ordered taro. They took 2 stamp cards I put down and didn't give me back my credit. I had 2 cards full and I still didn't have a single credit discount used. I went back and they didn't want to give me my cards back, despite them accidentally taking them. This time they gave me boba tea with no boba. I go back and they only just give me 1 free boba, what I paid for that's like 90c. I had to drive all the way back (I moved further away) it would've cost me more in fuel. Seriously given the amount of mistakes you've made you should at least give me a discount. 😭 I used to really like it here but it's better at Hulucat, Creamono , Yogost, given how many of my stamps I lost here and so many mistakes....

Honestly I love bubble tea and gongcha had always been my go to bubble tea shop to satisfy my boba tea craving. But especially this Takapuna branch; not so much. My partner and I ordered two milk teas here. The girl was taking our order and somehow she got the order wrong. However, the other guy staff was already making our bubble tea at the kitchen counter(At this point we had not paid and confirmed our order yet). The girl then told the guy the order was wrong or something. The guy shrugged and immediately rolled his eyes. Wow. The manager truly needs to train their staff at better customer service. This is not the first time we encountered poor customer service. The girl was rude most of the time too. For whatever reason that the staff had to be so ill-mannered, you should really give your job to someone else who would appreciate it and be polite to...

Today I went there and I bought a honey green tea. I paid my bills but the pos machine didn’t work. So I try second time and it works. But when I check my bank statement it show up I have two transactions. I asked worker for refund. Staff told me I have to go to the bank and ask them to help me solve this problem. Then I went to ASB bank they said they can’t not help me with this. If the problem was the pos machine you should ask the company to get back your refund. So I had a phone call to gongcha i don’t know what is going on. Why your landline phone is not working? I had very bad experience in Gongcha.
