We had a dining voucher which the owner did not honour, which was incredibly disappointing- Don’t advertise your restaurant online if you won’t honour the voucher. Upon talking to the owner he checked his emails and there had been incidents in the past where other customers were also denied the dining vouchers. He said ‘I forgot to respond to the emails’ as he was overseas and ‘forgot’ to remove the restaurant from the voucher website. This is a tad irresponsible and isn’t how you should be running a hospitality business. The least you could’ve done is provide compensation from your own end. The whole incident and manner of how it was resolved left a sour taste in our mouths.

On a positive note, the cafe is absolutely gorgeous and the food is tasty, on par with the other amazing cafes in the area. The food is good. Hats off to the chefs. The quantity is on the lower end for the price. For the creamy mushrooms on toast, instead of two slivers of bread, two bigger chunks of toast could be given to complement the meal more. For the French toast, something on the sides would’ve been nice. Same with the Korean chicken with rice. Taste wise, everything was brilliant. No complaints at all. The smoothie was great.

The reason people order off the menu instead of ordering from the cabinet is because they expect higher quality, and quantity, normally expecting a side with the meal (fries or a salad) But sadly the $15 cabinet sandwich was better, larger, tastier than the $27 bagel.

I knew I was going to leave a five star review as soon as I walked into his place. First thing I noticed was the welcoming and warm decor of the place. Very attractive, setting, and attention to detail. The second thing that became apparent was the warm, welcoming smiles and attention from the staff, who were very friendly.

Was a bit chilly at 7:30 in the morning with the doors all open (could have done with the doors being closed for a few heaters on to start, but it soon warmed up whilst we were dining.). When I talk about attention to detail, it’s right down to the cast iron teapots that serves the Earl Grey that we asked for. Both the Earl Grey tea and a long black coffee were really good. We were even offered an extra teabag by the friendly staff if it wasn’t strong enough. The toilets tastefully decorated with nice dark glass mosaic tiles and very clean.

The food arrived in good time. I had scrambled eggs on mixed grain toast with a side of bacon. My mother had a bagel avocado. It’s the first time she has tried a bagel anywhere. Bagels normally have a slightly tougher exterior which she struggled with initially.

The attention of Staff noticed this, and immediately offered her a lighter muffin to exchange free of charge. I thought this was very kind and worthy of a mention.

We (10 people) had the pleasure of trying out this amazing place with the family on Sunday, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The staff made us feel right at home and were great with the kids, which always makes a big difference.

The atmosphere was beautiful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with aesthetic touches that made the whole experience feel special. It had just the right balance of being family-friendly while still feeling like a place you’d go to treat yourself.

What really impressed us was how accommodating they were for families. The kids were given something to keep them entertained while we waited for our meals, which was such a thoughtful touch and made a huge difference. It helped us all relax and enjoy the moment, and by the time the food arrived, we were more than ready—and let me tell you, it was well worth the wait!

Every dish was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. You can really tell there’s care and attention put into the menu. We enjoyed every bite and left feeling satisfied and happy.
