Kiwi Grill — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

I came in yesterday afternoon to order steak and eggs, the lady was lovely and took my order and asked how I would like my steak I replied Medium Rare. I asked how long would it be she told me 5minutes… 20minutes later this same lady has fully forgot to do my order and as I approached the bench to ask how long the other employee has told me 5minutes.. I know mistakes happen but she should have told me she forgot my order not get the other employee to tell me she forgot it and my steak was cooked WELL DONE. I was starving I didn’t have time to turn around and return as I thought to myself I don’t want to wait another 15minutes maybe for a steak that was dry and chips that had no salt at all .. Worst service received in a long time. You have the least customers out of all the restaurants in the food court so we came here to avoid queues. 4 staff members fluffing around in front of shop - personal chat (which I don't mind, if your still doing your core job), Asian guy standing at counter too busy talking to his friends behind the counter. I walked away twice because you were too busy to serve a paying customer and 3rd time I thought, actually no I'm not spending money at an outfit that can't be bothered to provide basic customer service. Please find a different job if you're too cool to serve customers and your personal convos...

I'm always hesitant to purchase food from these types of establishments as they always disappoint me. This place is no exception. I paid $14 for this meal and I don't care if Covid has pushed prices up, I still expect to get my money's worth and this fails miserably. However, my egg was cooked just right the sausage was grilled on one side only and was processed sausage meat and with fennel? Blegh!!! As you can see the bacon was cooked but looking anaemic. I won't be going back again, not even to give them a chance to redeem themselves. See first sentence. Lesson...
