Rumpus Bar — Restaurant in Māngere-Ōtāhuhu

Not one to post poor reviews, but since this restaurant has only a captive audience of hotel guests, it’s worth warning them off of this place. We wondered why there were so many people in the lobby having food delivered….

We ordered an inedible burger—we suspect the whole thing was microwaved since even the vegis, tomatoes and lettuce included, were hot. The Caesar salad, well, the picture is attached here. Salad more brown then green. Also warm as a salad shouldn’t be.

The only upside is that kids eat free if you are staying there and you order an adult meal. Unfortunately that assumes you would feed you child...

The service here is very friendly and fast. My husband had the burger and fries. It was very big, but fell apart because it got soggy. My Caesar salad was pretty good. I added smoked salmon.
