Kitchener's Cafe — Restaurant in Martinborough Community

What an experience ♥️. I can't say I have ever been to a place like this, #kitchenerscafe

Trades and local farmers took their boots off at the door, local police visited in pairs (don't forget to blow on that pie 😉), rural wife's met with their babies/toddlers and licals/visitors enjoyed ka pai conversation, great kai and excellent kāwhe.

I had the Bacon & Egg Butte with chips and a lovely mocha 😋, it was all perfect. I'm so glad I got to experience this place. The kai in the kai cabinet was going so quickly, but it wasn't long before it was restocked again.

My partner and I enjoyed a truly wonderful breakfast here. Every staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a delicious pie, scrambled eggs, and coffee — every dish was absolutely one of the best we’ve had during our trip across New Zealand. It left such a deep impression on us!

We also encountered an issue with our overseas credit card transaction, but the staff went above and beyond to assist us in verifying the details. We are still so grateful for the help to this day.

The best local for locals. Ever. Kitchener's is not just a cafe, it's a place where locals stop to say hi to each other over a hot cuppa of Havana's finest; where community knowledge gets shared; where shearers get their supplies for the day at 4 in the morning (followed by commuters at 5am); and the only place I know that welcomes you like you're a part of the family with a big smile and a kind word any time / any day.
