Went to Burger King on 2/10/25 at 7.15am , didn't get out food till 7.50am, yesterday I know it's dinner time but no excuse for how long it took and how organized and messed up it was it was Terrible , took 45 mins to get our order, So much for fast foods and convient , at one point for about 15 minutes no food came to counter at all lots of people waiting and getting frustrating , after realizing people that had turned up way after me were getting their orders went up and asked and said oh your order here's so than packed it and I said I ordered a chocolate shake, he said no you didnt than looked at receipt , oh you did , I guess I can make that, yeah make what I order and payed for no need for attitude and like it's an inconvenience , chips and everything was just thrown into bag and all our food was cold , and a lot of peoples orders were messed up , only orders they cared about doing were Uber eats even the driver thought was not moving. Used to be fine before they did all recent renovations and lay outs now it's slow , we both finish work late and wanted to buy burger king as normally it's quick and convenient 5 mins top not this time , we could of driven home and still made dinner quicker or gone to a restaurant and had a sit down meal. Sort you business out not good enough , no apology for wait times or for messing peopes orders up . I feel like if I didn't ask would never of got our order . Worst experience ever....

The last time I used the drive through I ordered a hawaiian BK chicken and one of those burgers with a beef patty, bbq sauce and onion rings and I asked for the combos to be put in separate takeway bags. Anyway they put them in the same bag and I didnt have time to muck around so I just left with it. Not long afterwards though I discovered that my beef and onion rings burger only had enough onion rings to cover less than half of the surface of the patty which meant I only really got half the burger I ordered, and it wasnt one of the cheap combos either. To top it off they had given me a bk chicken combo instead of the hawaiian I ordered and there was no ice in our drinks!
While its not always this bad its pretty common for the guys at the whangarei branch to forget something I ask for or get one or two details in my order wrong. I dont stutter or have some kind of speech impediment, so it has to be the hearing and attention span of the staff thats compromised. Put a bit more effort into using those tarigas guys/girls! Youre working at a place called BURGER KING, so make your paying customers some good burgers! Please...
Read moreWe normally have great family time at BK, but unfortunately, our recent visit was ruined by a rude employee named "Thomas," who, surprisingly, was the manager on duty at the Whangarei BK. A person with that kind of attitude shouldn't be allowed in a customer-facing position, let alone be appointed as a manager.
We accidentally placed our order through app for the drive-thru while we were inside the restaurant. I went to the counter and asked if he could give us our order there. He outright refused. Arrogantly, he told me I needed to go to the drive-thru to collect our order, saying, "I can’t move the order inside." I asked again, but he turned away and completely ignored me. I requested to speak to his manager, but he refused to call anyone and said, "You’re talking to the manager, there’s no one else." He then turned and walked away.
At this point, I spoke to another lady who was very helpful. Without hesitation, she entered my order number into the system, and I had my order within a minute. Meanwhile, "Thomas" continued to linger around, ignoring me as if nothing had happened.
