The garden area & outdoor gifts inside the shop are fine, well presented and a comprehensive display of plants available. The cafe however, not so good. I went there for lunch, not much on display for a quick bite available, so had to choose from the menu. I wanted a BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado & tomatoe) on ciabatta. Someone with their back to me muttered that they didn't have any avocado, so I settled for a BLT instead. What I got was a stale ciabatta role, not toasted, with two small limp pieces of something green, two slices of unripe tomatoe, and a mass of RAW BACON, all smothered in mayonnaise. It was revolting & not edible. I took one bite, got a mouthful of slimy bacon full of gristle & was just about sick. LIFT YOUR GAME PALMERS. If that is the usual coming out of your cafe it should...

I don't want to drive around too find one so i like to ring first ensure a shop has one then I can drive to purchase one. I phoned a number of garden centres and got great over the phone service but no water lily. II and Palmers whangarei and selected their garden centre from options The phone just Rang and rang until a recorded message asked me to leave a message. I wanted to speak with someone so I continued to ring at least another 3 times. Then I tried going through to accounts incase there was an issue with the garden phone but the accounts phone line also went to answer phone after ringing for a while.
