Hare Krishna Community Cafe — Restaurant in North Island

Being a vegetarian it is really hard to find good food, especially when you are travelling. I missed out last time when I was in Whangārei, luckily today I get to try the food. It is really delicious, I had the plate of meal and it came with two curries, rice, paratha, sweet and cooked vegetables. I have picked two plate one for dinner so that I can try all four curries. I couldn’t pick a best one as I enjoyed all of them. I highly recommend this to anyone travelling through or visiting or living in Whangarei.

Saturday morning markets in Whangarei means you stood in the queue waiting for the yummy Samosas and freshly baked goods! When there is a long line up it means they make yummy food! So couple of weekends ago I tried their Almond 🥐 while getting hubby’s samosa. It’s the Biggest and BEST in town! Worth every dollar I spent ($4) and waaaay better than any cafe 🥐 I’ve come across!
