They have some good food but a lot of let downs too. Sweet and sour pork is great but the Hungry over rice option had very little sweet and sour pork and was mostly just rice. Very expensive for mostly a bowl of bland rice. Spicy Curry Laksa with crispy chicken isn’t laksa at all. Has no coconut cream and barely any flavour, just spicy water. Got so excited that I might have found a good laksa in Whangarei but It was a big let down. Had to chuck the noodles out as they were so flavourless and boring in that soup. The crispy chicken was the only good part. Should consider changing the name to spicy soup as Laksa...

I'm surprised this place isn't packed anytime I go in, it's not for the lack of good food or service, which is excellent.

Great menu and really generous portions, and I would say cheap compared to other places in town, $18 for a main compared to $, great extras like the prawn crackers, for a family of with 3 kids we got two bowls free.

Service can be a little slow, but that's how you know everything is made fresh to order.

I've never been disappointed with the food or service, it's clean, smack bang in the middle of town.
