If you love delicious strong coffee and amazing smoothie bouls, yummy avocado on toast or a quick coffee and bite to eat on the run, then I highly recommend Soul Boul.
I stop in a minimum of a few times a week for coffee and healthy breakfast/brunch and I have always enjoyed the food, the service and the location which is perfectly located for morning sun and recharge.
Stacey, Alex and the staff are super friendly and always put their special touch on everything they create and serve.
There isn't much I haven't tried off the menu and I have never been disappointed. The Smoothie Bouls are amazing, HELLO YELLOW is my fav, followed closely by the Avocado on toast which is full of flavour.
Now for the coffee. It is a rich strong blend and they nail the coffee extraction, milk and temp to a smooth velvety consistency. I am a total coffee lover and ended up switching from a few other local cafes as the brews were super inconsistent, watery or just didn't know how to nail the milk frothing correctly. The smooth velvety milk was either non-existent, or the brew was burning hot, or lukewarm and inconsistent.
So if you love a strong rich Mocha brew or want to dive it into a healthy breakfast bowl, then I highly recommend Soul Boul đâ€ïž
Thank you Soul Boul for all...
Read moreHonestly very disappointed with the past few times Iâve been to soul boul mount. I really do love their smoothies, but the service is really awful. The people that work here are not friendly, or attentive. We were sitting at a dirty table the whole time we came here for breakfast. Our table was looked at and walked past 4 times and not once did they clear the dirty mess from the people before us or wipe down the table (it was filthy with food and birds were even trying to land on the table to eat the scraps). In the end we had to go up and ask for a cloth (which was given to us, not offered to do) and we had to wipe down the table ourselves, and clear the food scraps from the people before - this dirty cloth was not then even picked up from our table again (even though we had our late food delivered and it was again seen by the staff). To top it all off our food that was ordered and payed for was forgotten about and we had to go up and ask where it was. We were waiting...
Read moreActually a super great cafe on Mount, which I have been visiting regularly for 2 years. The food and staff is fantastic. Unfortunately I don't understand the current business policy and I have a few questions for the owner. Why does a small local business change its coffee brand to Allpress, owned by Japan's largest brewery, Asahi? Why are small local coffee roasters being put out of business? As a small business, do you really need to achieve this small additional profit? You're not Robert Harris or Coffee Club! Why don't small businesses support other small local businesses? Just for a few dollars more? Does the greed for money know no ethics at all? Me and many of my friends will buy the coffee somewhere else in the future. It's a shame to see why people sell their souls... It's just about money without thinking on our future... Would really appreciate if you could...
