The Fat Brother Tauranga — Restaurant in North Island

I got Uber eats order in the last night at 8:20pm and i reached to the restaurant at 8:30 and lady said to me ohh the order supposed to be at 9pm and i told to her i came over there according to job time. First they said to me your order will be ready within 5-10 minutes. I had wait over their for 45 minutes until 9:15 and then I haven’t got the order from them and after that they gave the 3 orders to other customers in front of me as I’m waiting from longer time. After that I had cancelled the order. Worst services.

I just wanna to letting you know i had done uber eats half year ago and i had edited the review three weeks ago not meant to be posted again. Do you have manners how to deal with customer. I been there three times as customer and got worst service and I already seen now as well in reply. It’s seems to be you guys are too disrespectful. I will not recommend anyone to you guys. Worst Service! You guys deserve...

We came into town from Omokoroa to Sample this quirky themed burger joint.

We were met with a strange, ordering window with a bell.. the owners inside were clearly visible to us but still, we stood waiting.

We ordered two a burger and loaded fries. 20 mins in I enquired how long our food would be. I was told "uhh, a few moments more". 15 mins later, food was up. A very average, lack lustre burger certainly nowhere with the 18 bucks.

Loaded fries: pre frozen meatballs that were probably out of a Gilmores catering pack, and horrendous watery 'cheese sauce'. Not to mention said meatballs were stone cold in the middle!

Near 40 mins wait time. Cold meatballs. Waste of gas.

Not to mention the 10 or so Doordash employees all crowding the ordering window, next to our outdoor seating only option.

I love LOVE the chicken at The Fat Brother. The sandwich, the burger, the chicken is just divine. The burger has everything that a burger should have, just made in such a perfectly beautiful way I cannot even describe, but I will try. It's hot, fresh, quick, crunchy coating, soft chicken and the perfect amount of spice. The cheese, lettuce, and the sauce with the warm and non-soggy brioche buns together just make my mouth watering thinking about it, even thought I'm eating it right now. The waffle fries are also perfectly crispy, soft, and tangy. The staff were undeniably the most kindness, friendliest, and efficient staff ever. I will be back. Probably next week. Or tomorrow. Couldn't recommend this hidden burger-joint...
