The Flying Bean Coffee Shop — Restaurant in North Island

This arvo was our first time stopping by at The Flying Bean for warm hot chocos & some treats & probably the last. There was 1 staff working & showed outrageous attitude whilst taking orders for us and customers before and after us. Left us all in shocked. The staff rolled her eyes, sighing heavily as she greets us & bangs the eftpos machine infront of us for payment. Then bangs the coffee cups on the countertops when handing it over to us. A camera is located on the wall of the shop & we highly suggests for managers or owners to review this arvo’s shift. In the end, us customers gathered to discuss if this is a standard behaviour & representation of The Flying Bean. Absolutely...

If you need a coffee fix and don't wish to break your walkies on the Petone Esplanade whether it's for you or your pooch, you will find this little kiosk, strategically perched for the best view in town with handy park-seating, very convenient. You can certainly get up close with the uninvited wild life who will appreciate your muffin crumbs with great gusto. Just make sure to watch out for the diving squad as they home in onto the rest of your sweet treat. Decent coffee with no queues, no fuss and with wild-life...

The coffee is great!! They know my order once I get there. In the morning though there is this guy there who just came up to my ute and opened my door and told me to stop buying coffee there. Very unprofessional and not necessarily. Just be careful when out there with awful people!! I’m not causing any harm or issues just a stop on my way to work. Very disgusting behaviour.
