Susan Honestly I tried to keep This Review on 2 Stars I very nearly gave you 3! just Based on Your Personal Service alone of which is 2nd to none...However, In good conscience I just kept finding 'fault after fault' & Susan greeted my Sister and Myself upon arrival was so very Polite and Professional. Checkin was in a timely manner as I was in a rush as 5 Days After Major Surgery I could Barely Hold myself up😬😏. . . Patient Travel Booked this Motorlodge and by No Offense to Susan who is an Amazing Person/Manager. Our Room, Let's just say First Impressions are Everything! "Just Sayin 🤷‍♀️👀" Comfy enough for Requirements That's it😒. . . If it were up to Me, I could of gotten us a 4 or 5 Star Motel Room "Same Geographical Location" for much less than we Both Paid For!. . Huh go figure . . . 😒 HEAD'Z UP. . . .Here Kiwi's an Newbies to NZ 😉👍 Patient Travel only Cover you to a Max of $100NZD Per-Night. . . I am staying here in Total 9 Nights and the Extra Amount Exceeding the Initial $100NZD Will Be, 'Required to be Paid Upfront by you, Yourself "We or at times Myself rather Personally were not Impressed that the Amount we Paid was between $620NZD & $750NZD On top of the $1000NZD That the Ministry of Health was to be 'Charged Back to the Ministry of Health of N.Z'. . . I am not in so much Pain now and so I can think more Clearly. . 'So Dangerous Rae can Think Clearly 🤣 😉1stly Cleaners forget to finish the Room upon arrival at 2pm 🤨 Now surely Susan could appreciate that I had, had 5 Days Prior Major like Major Surgery!!! All I wanted was to * Chill Out .... Sssooo then Myself & My Sister were Required to Wait for our Quilt and or Comforter... 1st Impressions Mate🤨 I mean, C'mon "Entrance/Reception is Adjacent to the Carport & Overgrown Moss, Xtremely Dirty Windows. Overall just Aesthetically Non Pleasing to One's own eyes 😐 ➕ Our Shuttle Exceeded Their the Foreshore Motorlodge's Height Limit to the Entrance 🤷‍♀️👀 You & Your Team, Receptionist/Manager/No Uniforms nor Name Badges Stating Rank & Name. We are yet to be "Impressed"🤨 As sore as I am, 'I ended up Cleaning SOME of the Walls 🤨🤬 Kitchen, B/Rm, Brackets/Wall Mounts! the Entry-level Points on the White Brackets yeah around those absolutely 🤢🤮 gross. And the Gunk build-up along the Metal/Aluminum Metal Floor/Brace i am not sure if it is called that I'm not a Builder 😉😏 Just an OBSERVIST 🤣😁Especially when You Pay as Much as We Did, You Expect a Hygienic Room Simple as that afterall it is Not Rocket Science and People from All Walks of Life Pay Good Money to Stay at Any Accommodation Outlet. In saying that, When people Pay said Good Money then they as the Guest Deserve the Very Best Service & Hygienic Room and the Reviews Must Reflect How you as a Business as an Accommodation Provider IF You the Motelier/s Reviews are Nothing but Positive then You must be Doing Something Right. . . Yet every Motel/Accommodation Provider will still get the Odd Guest who will Never be Happy no matter what you do! All you can do is Smile, Be Polite and Always Keep Moving Forward, Never looking behind us! Forward I am finding is One of Many a Pathway to Succeed at' I am Not Shy to Point Out Where Key Areas Could be made to Boost Income as I've been a Holiday Park Manageress Twice in my lifetime + Moteliers Will Not Know if not informed so they can make Reno's if Required. Your website states off street parking but when I rang to let you know that we didn't have a carpark out the front of our room, I was told that no allocation for carparks were given to rooms as they are all free and if we couldn't find a carpark then we would have to park on the road. We managed to squeeze the car into a space by the smoking area sign. I've never stayed in a motel where you have to park on the road and don't have a park. We had 2 rooms between us and not 1 car park. Also there is no curtain on bathroom window so people from buildings behind could see in, yes there's a tinted window but with the light on, there's no privacy. The room was clean, nothing flash, but that's totally fine. Bed was really comfy, wifi not the best as kept lagging. The rooms do need some attending to as tap was wiggly and hard to turn on in kitchen in our room. Towel rail came apart when l moved the towel, as it was loose. We just don't think it was worth $155. Its more like a truck stop than a motel. Alright for a pass through overnight stay. Sorry but we wouldn't recommend this motel. The lady at the counter was really lovely and...

We were going to arrive late, so I phoned and was told that they closed up at 8pm. They left the room unlocked for us. There were holes in the ceiling, sticky ugly marks on the floor by the door. The door had a large gap under it, lucky it wasn't a cold night because the only source of heating was a tiny fan heater. There was no blind on the bathroom window and although it was patterned glass it was still see through. The fridge was so loud and rattily we ended up having to turn it off and risk our food spoiling. The bed was hideously uncomfortable and had what felt like plastic sheets on it that you stuck to and even rolling over was difficult. My pillow had blood stains on it. I will definitely never be returning...
