If I could give this place a 0 I would! My work colleague came in here today to buy coffees, we come here every week with normally no issues but on this occasion there was a huge fuss about a Banana Frappe. We know this is not on the menu but they make it for us every week and put it under a mango frappe to charge. The guy who served my work colleague was absolutely rude and had no customer service what so ever! The banana frappe was so watered down and they didn’t even know what to put in it or how to make it as they asked what even goes in a banana frappe? So we took the frappe back and they guy snatched it off my colleague with no apology and made and when he made her a new one she asked him to double check, “does this one have real banana in it” and he said back to her in a rude manner “DIDN’T YOU SEE ME PEAL IT” she thought to call the store and speak to the manager about the poor customer service. The manager did not want to hear a bar of it, she completely turned it back around saying that my colleague was the rude one. All you could have done was apologise for the terrible service we had experienced. Except you made her feel pretty upset about the way it was handled and we will never step foot in coffee club Palmerston ever again. Is this how you treat your customers? And is this how a manager should handle situations when called about a situation that happened it YOUR STORE. WITH NO apology whatsoever. Times are tough for businesses and if this is how you treat your customers then good luck. we are regular customers who come in every single week. Will never return. 0...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with our experience here on Saturday, We turned up just after 2:30pm, and we had to contend for the attention of the serving staff to ask whether the kitchen was open. (Talking to each other and doing some cleaning was clearly more important than serving customers.) We were assured by two of the serving staff that the kitchen was open but that we didn't have to order at the counter but could take a seat at a table and someone would come and take our order. The two of us went and sat down and we waited for well over 15 mins and still no-one had come to take our order. Finally my brother went to the counter again and placed our order. (A Salad Main and a Salmon Main and two Iced Mochas.) And then we waited and waited... We waited for them to send a trawler out to catch the Salmon, we waited for the lettuce to grow, we waited for the egg to hatch and grow into a chicken... About three quarters of an hour later, we finally received our meal. And to completely round out a full three courses of 'Terrible Experience' (which we hadn't ordered), the Salmon in my brother's meal was hot on the outside and still cold in the middle! There were other customers there, we were polite and courteous the whole time (and patient)... but we had bought two expensive meals and got totally awful service and then one of the meals wasn't even cooked. Firstly my gf asked for her mushrooms to be on the side, not on the bread and it was on the bread anyway, secondly we payed $4 extra for a single hash brown that was obviously just from Packnsave and should’ve been no more than a dollar, thirdly, the spinach was clearly not cooked. It seemed like the chef had a bag of baby spinach and just dumped it on the stale, soggy, slightly toasted ciabatta bread without so much as seasoning or cooking it. The mushrooms had no flavor. And the green smoothie tasted like coconut oil, and water mixed together. One of the worst meals iv had in a cafe. I am appalled that it was $80. Such a waste of money when we could’ve bought all the ingredients from Packnsave for $30 and made it twice as good ourselves. Please improve so that others don’t experience the same...
