TANGNOODLE — Restaurant in South Island

Came the 1st time with my friends forgot to take pictures so i had to come back the 2nd time!!

Food: Order the Minced Pork Noodles !!! 1st of all the noodle portion is out of this world! Very thick and juicy noodles paired with the beautifully cooked minced pork WOW If you're asian and you've never came here before, I'm sorry to tell you that you're missing out. Also the egg is nicely made to the chinese way. Price for the bowl was $16 during the time of purchase making it an overall 4.8/5 🤩

Service: Now moving on to service! There's only 1 aunty during the time i came. Aunty was Super sincere and kind! All sorts of condiments were offered for FREE such as chinese chilli oil, crushed ginger and etc. Overall the service is a whopping 5/5 🥰

Ambience: The environment in the restaurant can be super quiet when there's little to no one in it and can be very lively during crowded times. For me personally i dont mind the noises in a restaurant as it makes it very lively 😆 Spacing in a restaurant for me is a very important part and TANG NOODLES spacing within is just nice! The place won't get congested even if it's crowded. Overall ambience 4.5/5 could be improved with maybe chinese music etc etc

What a place! Tom was an incredible host and an absolute pleasure to meet. I came here looking for some fun/unique foods and was not disappointed. Tom was happy to talk about less popular items that he was proud of. We had 6 dishes and loved wither the flavor or adventure of all. We had the normal dumplings and noodles which were incredible but we also tried the blood soup. Great to find a place that has superb noodles, dumplings, and typical fare. We came here for a weekday lunch and had the place to ourselves. The owners are very sweet, and service was prompt. The fried dumplings and spicy beef noodles were delicious, particularly the mild numbing heat from the peppery beef broth.

Decor and atmopshere is a little austere with fluoroscent lighting and no music (probably not helped by us being in the restaurant alone!).

They're offering a type and quality of cuisine not available anywhere else in Dunedin, so definitely...
