Last two consecutive occasions of ordering the same dish , within the space of a week , (why you might ask , this is my weekly thing , the meal I always look forward to , the same meal tradition ) , specifically asking for Spicy Thai hot , meal takeaway , however once home the Meal was missing that special request , called the next morning to explain what happened and was told to pop into the shop and receive a meal , evening popping back into the restaurant the same day to explain the mishap to the owner and I was told I was being rude and to check my meal is correct before leaving the restaurant next time, was given a small punnet of diced chilli to put in my meal next time . Adding the chilli the next day isn’t the same as the infused flavor you get when cooked together . Not very good at receiving feed back let alone a customer complaint . The food is great when the order is correct . I’ll be back and hope to learn the fool proof way to order without the possibility of the order being incorrect , which I thought I had done on the...

We have been eating eating here for many years. When it was Thai House Express, I preferred the decor, the service and some of the dishes that have been deleted. My fave was Chicken Curry Powder. We either eat in or get takeaways at least twice a month. We were such regulars that we were on good terms with the owner. However, today, I was annoyed. After our party spent $107 for our meal, we asked for some leftovers to take away. The waitress demanded .50 cents for a plastic container. Of course, it is not the money that annoys me, it is the complete lack of understanding of customer expectations. I have never encountered this charge anywhere. They have jeopardised our annual spend with them of $2,000 - $3,000 for the sake of .50 cents. If you think I am being petty, do you not think the pettiness was initiated by this...

I had a fantastic experience at Thai House Eatery in New Plymouth. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. The prices were also very reasonable, which was a nice surprise.

In addition to the great food, the staff at Thai House were extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure our experience was top-notch and our food came out quickly, which is always appreciated when you're hungry.
