the guys who are doing their best job to do a great pizza falls short or are let down probably by franchise rules, after yesterdays pizza now I know whats my problem with sals pizza is , you cannot make a pizza and leave it hanging somewhere around the oven for 5/10/15/20min then warm it up in a super hot oven for 5 min and expect the pizza will taste the same because it won’t (I order a pizza on the counter and that was my “luck” the same pizza I ordered was already made but hanging on top of the oven) that kill the whole purpose of making and buying a pizza because im paying 40$ per pizza not 5$ value pizza . Put through an online order at around 5PM to be picked up at 6:40PM. Got to the store at 6:38PM to pick up the order only to be told by the lady that they WERE going to contact me as the order has been ready for at least 30 minutes. It sat on top of the oven since at least 6PM so when it was handed to me, the food was cold, only the bottom of the box was warm from sitting on the oven. It has sat in the box so long that the melted cheese has hardened onto the box and just generally didn't taste fresh. I bought a half double pepperoni pizza from Sals today and was really disappointed. The pizza arrived cold, and the pepperoni slices weren’t even melted into the mozzarella—they were just sitting loosely on top. It’s pretty clear they took an old cheese pizza from the display (probably used for selling slices during the day) and just threw some pepperoni on it to avoid wasting food, likely because they were about to close.
