i used to come here all the time and enjoyed their spicy beef noodle soup...i come home to enjoy what i thought was a spicy broth but my meal is just full of thick oil. it's not even edible. it made me feel sick after three bites. tried to stir the noodles to find any broth underneath but my entire meal is coated in thick oil. i don't understand how you can serve this to customers when i have frequently been here and always enjoyed their noodles in the past.

I went there with my friends who are from Xi'an. The lamb soup is perfect with fresh and yummy soup base. Dried noodles with chilli oil is great too especially when you add more oil. All dishes are not too salty but savory. Fast service and nice staff. Clean place too. Will come back again if I need hot soup to warm up haha

Cold noodles were delicious I think it’s better than the one on Dominion’s road. Lamb soup was also alright. Hand pulled noodles with chilly oil was tasty.

Thank goodness Xi’an Food Bar is finally in ECB! Ordered the usual - hand pulled noodles with braised pork, and it was so good. Noodles, the sauce, the pork - all exactly as it’s always been at the other branches (I’ve been to Northcote, CBD, Dominion Rd) if not fresher. The staff were friendly even though I was only getting takeout. Will definitely be a regular - in fact, I’m about to order something...

Awesome hand pulled noodles. I tried the beef braised noodles soup, the broth was full of flavors, the beef very tender and the noodles has the perfect texture and chewiness. The service was fast and very kind. The place wasn't awesome but looked clean. Ohhh the chinese pork burger was very delicious as well 😋 Cheap price and super great value, I truly recommend this place and definitely I would like...
