In conclusion, booked a room, 8 adults 1 toddler, arrived 6.30~7pm, no service until 8, no food or drink until 9, we starved for 3 hours and restaurant said nothing, this is too insane to even believe this can happen in a restaurant in wynyard Quarter.

And more detail below We booked a room for dinner at Friday night, arrived 6.30-7pm and we ready to order around 7.20. Nobody came so we went to reception, 3 times, got the answer "we will serve you soon", and nobody came until 8pm... Finally someone came and keep 'helping' us to order expensive ingredients, even we said no he still push us to order. When order lobster he just said 'that will be 2kg' but nobody exactly weight and show us (which other Cantonese restaurant does). And we have nothing came through, no drinks no people came, until almost 9pm....this is too rediculous, I have to keep my kid awake and patient for her dinner. The food taste just ordinary, nothing outstanding from other Cantonese restaurant, definitely not worth this Kong waiting. Horrible expensive I felt so sorry to starve my kid and not allow her to sleep, and this restaurant keep giving us cold face and said they were busy,...

We went for dinner last night at the Seafood Paradise restaurant which has left us with the best impressions! We were greeted on arrival by Jason and Yu Jie the most hospitable hosts who made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing dining experience, accompanied with delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, great wine list and wonderful service. I highly recommend to everyone!. It is next to seafood market and has beautiful oceanfront location. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations on food & wine . Making the customers happy is their main priority and for their prices it’s 100% worth it, great value for money. Absolutely the best meal we had in a long time and happy to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal last night. This is my absolute favorite restaurant now. I called in before asking if there was vacancy. The lady at the phone told me to just come in and cut the phone before I could say anything else. Luckily, I understand Chinese because she answer the phone in Chinese and replied in Chinese. When I got there, the lady immediately recognise me probably because I’m only one that arrives in one person. I’m okay with my Chinese but not too good and the people in service don’t know too much English they should really hire someone that knows Chinese and English. The cheese lobster was great. Lots of cheese. The oysters were super fresh with the vermicelli noodles. Just a lobster with the spring onion didn’t have too much flavour. I had a really hard time cutting up the lobster legs so I eat most of it and packed away the ones with shells. Go home and slowly...
