Aqua Cafe — Restaurant in Waitematā

This is one of my very rare bad reviews. The Hash Brown Combo, the one good thing about it was the bacon. One small cheap sausage cut in three. Diagonal cuts don't make cuisine. My order was wrong, I got charged for mushrooms and didn't get any. The eggs were cooked wrong. Heavy drizzle of tomato sauce and what I think was Benedict sauce but may as well have been mayonnaise from the blandness under the hot food. The hash browns were from frozen. Cut a potato up why don't you? The one poor server had to do everything from running the till and taking orders to delivering food. No wonder she didn't know who's coffee orders went where or the orders were wrong. With the amount of business we brought, 40 people and the place was crowded, management is cutting corners...

Busy cafe with lots of customers coming from the pools so this is super handy to have a coffee or meal after swimming. We were in the area looking for Sunday breakfast after mass and this cafe did not disappoint! Delicious mocha made to my liking as I’m very fussy being an ex barista in my early 20s which is a very long time ago. The pancakes, aqua big breakfast, French toast and porridge were just amazing generous portions and lovely service. Excellent pricing for quality food. Will be back another time and...

Had breakfast here and the food was lovely, and nicely presented! But the lady with blonde hair, who might have been the manager perhaps? Was very rude, rolled her eyes that we all wanted to charge back to our room, made us feel like we were causing trouble. We then noticed she was quite rude to the others that was working there, with shortage of hospitality staff these days the other lovely ladies could work in many other places if they wanted to.
