Absolutely stunning 🤩 We luckily discovered this masterpiece of an Italian cafe, whilst on a family holiday to Auckland from Perth WA. This place is so amazingly great that we went back every day during our entire stay in Auckland. Every stunning item on the menu and display we found was handmade from scratch with top quality ingredients. The pasta, the coffee, the croissants, we mean everything was totally off the charts. I highly doubt many if any other establishments can boast this! We really mean that everything we tried was ’to die for’. A hidden gem!! Right inside Victoria Park Market, Auckland is this cute cosy spot, Borcelle Cafe!

We got there just after 9am and were greeted with a beautiful smile and the patience of a saint as the kids were indecisive on what they wanted for breakfast.

There’s a great variety of cabinet food and a well covered kitchen menu for everyone. The ambiance was relaxing with good tunes in the background, we were so happy we came here. Regulars were coming in for their morning coffee and treats and the staff were really attentive.

For breakfast and coffees, it was $86 for 4 of us, which we thought was reasonable given the location in the city and the food was delicious! Both the kids loved the French Toast.

Hands down the best café and restaurant I’ve come across in my 7 months in Auckland! More than just a coffee shop, this place is run by the most welcoming and kind-hearted family, all working together to serve amazing homemade food, delicious coffee (the cappuccino is my personal favorite!), and above all, genuine warmth. It quickly became a second home for me as I worked right next door and never missed a single day. Their kindness is something you truly have to experience for yourself. If you’re in Auckland, don’t think twice, just go. You won’t regret it! This will be my very first stop when I come back.
