We recently hosted a major telco event at The Oak Room, and the experience was absolutely phenomenal. From the initial planning stages to the execution on the day, the team at The Oak Room demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to ensuring our event was a success.

I had djayed a couple of 21st's here and the party goers have loved them. The venue is perfect for a party with music, food, drinks and formalities. Rohini, the bar staff, bouncers and catering staff were very professional and great to work with during the night.

I snuck in a bite during breaks so can attest that the catering is also on point.

The sound system here is perfect for the venue size and the layout allowed all parts of the party to work well; from drinks and canopes, to speeches, dancing and taking requests. The party crew can also just chill out in a quieter environment to the same beats on the deck outside.

I extended the set till just before 2am as we went through a journey from 80's pop remixes, 90's to 2020's pop and back to 80's rock with dance, rnb and a bit of edm thrown in there. Along with the requests for Croatian music, we kept the dance floor on its toes all night. As a djay, it was amazing to get applauded by the entire dancefloor after we completed our 2nd encore and the guests made their way home.

We recently held an event here. The security kicked about half of the guests out, some with reason and many without reason. The bar staff were constantly taking away full and half drunk glasses when people had there backs turned and we had to constantly ask them to bring these back. Reading the reviews, it feels like this is a common occurrence. Host an event, we paid extra for security (which i was initially overcharged on until i queried it in final invoice, to then kick out half the guests and then pay for drinks to have them taken away when you are not looking. Seems quite an odd way to conduct an event actually actually, people spend money on drinks, they are then taken them away before they have a chance to drink them and then eject half of the guests. We also were told the venue was open until 3am but the lights were turned on at 1.15am, probably due to the fact that the guests had lessened but it should have been up to the people paying for the event when the lights go on.
