Went with a group of 8 for lunch on the 16.7.2023. Food is Okay, wait staff is good, but a bit strange (they ask if you're ready to order as if they're unsure you're going to order or not). 2 Major Disappointing Reasons for the rating.
The outdoor seating is terrible. You cannot sit comfortably, as the seat is too narrow. definitely not enough Leg space is not enough. average person there was about 5'8 , 72kg.
The Cashier lady is completely absent minded. Made 2 Major Errors. Firstly, she gave us the wrong bill to pay for, it looked a bit low so we asked to double check because it didn't look right.
Secondly, as we were splitting the bill and paying for the items separately. I pointed out on the receipt which item i wanted to pay for, and verbally read out the item for clarity. She repeated the item back. As i placed my card on the pay wave scanner. i saw that the price was higher than expected. I asked her in a questioning polite manner, whether the item i paid for was this price. She gestured me to look at the menu, a little annoyed, and impatient i was holding up the queue.
The menu confirmed she had over charged me for the wrong extras / addons, i told her this. and all she did was told me she accidentally charged for the wrong extras, with no intention to rectify, refund, and remained quiet, busy doing something else. I looked at her in disbelief and said "are you serious?". No further response was made by the cashier, she was not interested in correcting her mistake. My party and I were in a rush to leave, and i did not want to arguing over a small amount. So we...

👅 Bibim-myeon $24 just look at the colours of this bowl 😵 these ain’t skittles but i tasted the rainbow fosho. soba noodles coated in spicy sweet gochujang sauce and a yolk. WOOO 😝 adding the crunchy elements of cucumber and nuts it was a refreshing and light starter ;) simple yet delicious 🫶🏼
👅 Tongdak (Off menu special 😉) ofc, asking for specials is the first q i always ask and i was in awe when the waitress told us about this 70s style KFC. you sold me sis 🫡 but she already had me at fried chicken. crispy seasoned chicken coated in green onions and shallots OML. DEADLY DUOOO 🤪 served with a sticky sweet sauce and a creamy slaw 🤤 took a trip to flavourtown but the real star was the JOOCYNESS of that chicken 🐔
👅 Dak-kkochi w/sweet and spicy dressing $23 we almost opted to be boring and get the normal dak-kkochi but as soon as we saw the sauce … WELL 😍 they know how to cook their chooks cause these were super juicy 🍑 the sauce was sticky and messy but you know that means its gonna be finga lickin gud 😘 i did think the sauces started to taste the same but it was still nomz. topped with the OG kewpie mayo, crispy shallots and nuts; we were in heaven 🥳
