I had a brow magic with hybrid colour, and a Russian Volume mixed set full appointment. Initially, the staff were super professional and polite. The brow magic also went absolutely amazing. Tanya has great eye for detail, and she made them beautifully even and symmetrical. Which is a skill I've struggled to find in Auckland. After the brows, I then went next door for the lashes. However, the lash appointment went downhill. The technician made me feel uncomfortable. I've been getting my lashes done every three weeks for four years, from other well known high quality establishments, and it was the first time I've ever felt so awkward and uncomfortable before at a salon. There was constantly glue in my eyes which burnt, I ignored this pain and put up with it, but it was her constant sighing, huffing and puffing because my eye was twitching due to the glue. Very rude "stop twitching your eye". How about you stop getting glue in my eye? I tried making small talk, being friendly and paying an interest to what she has to say, but I felt ignored. She was grumpy, extremely inpatient and unprofessional. Which is something I've never experienced at a salon before. Sadly, I endured all that for some very underwhelming and average lashes. They are not even, and nowhere near as full as I had hoped. They could be fluffier. They could be fuller. But they're not. Once again, the brows with Tanya was amazing. But I feel incredibly let down by the lashes experience. I'll be back to get my brows done with Tanya for sure, but not for lashes as I can't endure that level of unprofessional attitude for...
Read moreI had a yumi lash lift done here. Great customer service, as I had booked the wrong appointment in error yet the staff were absolutely accommodating.
The process itself was extremely relaxing and there was no harsh products used, even the smell of the product was surprisingly very fresh and pleasant, compared to other lash perming treatments I've had.
Simple follow up care and instructions were clearly given at the appointment.
The end result was mixed and I only noticed once I got home and not at the clinic after the initial treatment.
My left eyelashes were fabulous but on the end 7mm of my right eyelashes (on the outer end of my lashline) the lashes were completely bent out of shape, tangled ans intertwined together and completely inconsistent with the rest of my lashes.
I opted to have the yumi lash lift to save on time putting on my eye makeup, however with the state of this section of my lashes, it made putting on mascara a nightmare as I was unable to comb the lashes out straight and uniform with the rest of my lashes.
For the price charged of $180, I wish I had noticed the inconsistency while still at the clinic, however as mentioned the rest of the service was most definitely worthwhile.
I recommend Lash Noir but encourage customers to check the standard of work BEFORE leaving the clinic, so it can be addressed...
Read moreSpent 175 for yumi lash + tint, as well as brow magic makeover that claims to give tutorial. Both are exclusive treatment for las and brow, their most expensive option at similar treatment.
Lashes definitely lifted and it looks good on my right eye while left side are stuck together and folded down to the side, will have to use mascara and it’s uncomfortable just as is. i can see the fold on the lash. There was no aftercare of whatsoever given, I had to google it to find out from another company, that I shouldn’t let the lash touch water for 24 hours.
There was no question asked how I want my brows to look, she draw lines using ice cream sticks and asked me if that’s okay which was massive and I lost what to say, and she was like leave it to me and I’ll show you so I thought she’d check with me before tints but nah, she just went on without letting me know what colour she’s using nor how I want the shape. I preferred thinner brow but not too thin, I needed the time to explain this but she made me feel uncomfortable to raise really.
I don’t think I’ll revisit, I find they offer the top price with lowest...
