For many years, I've been getting a monthly body massage. I've been fortunate to find one place where I can go regularly. Recently, out of curiosity, I wanted to try a body massage and sculpting facial with a facial lift .After this experience, I feel that I won't return for a body massage and will continue visiting Ayurwellness in Parnell or Aroma Massage, as I sense a transformative effect on my body after their massages, thanks to the generous amount of warm, quality oil they use for our bodies and inner muscles.

The facial was fantastic, leaving my face feeling grateful, but it's an indulgent, once-a-year expensive treat. For regular facials, I always favor Aroma, East Day Spa, and Ayurwellness Spa, which offer similar effectiveness to the one I had today. Ladies, do try out "Skin and Wellness" by Tomomi Kai at Lifecentre in Ponsonby.

Absolutely amazing. I have struggled quite badly with facial eczema for the past year, and for a big part of that I was at a loss finding any products that would work to ease my discomfort and not add further irritation to my skin. I was a little apprehensive of trying somewhere new, but I am very grateful I did. The facial itself (with light therapy) was so relaxing, and they tailored my experience using very gentle products to lock in hydration and assist with skin healing. They also recommended the best products and skincare regime to follow in between facials. Absolutely the best facial I’ve ever had. The whole experience was lush and the 60 minute facial treatment was designed to be relaxing. My skin looked so great and the next few days it cleared up from the red blotches I had prior to the facial. The massage and steam felt lovely and you feel very pampered.

The only downside for me was my room was right next to reception and I could hear the conversations from other customers which was distracting. Also for some reason there were several fairly loud metallic sounding bangs during mine. It was a Saturday so not sure if this was cars or something else. A shame but I still enjoyed the facial even with the distractions, just a wee bit disappointing to have been disrupted...
