I went in last night and ordered a pepperoni pizza, chicken and chips, and chicken nachos. I frequently come in and order these items. Last night we didn’t get our food for over an hour. Multiple people, I’m talking at least ten who had come in after us got served first so he basically forgot. When we went up to enquire, he told us it would be ready in ten minutes. It wasn’t. I went up again and said I would wait at the counter since I felt I had to be physically in front of them to actually get any food. First he gave us the pizza by itself. The pizza had been in the box upside down and all of the toppings were stuck and had dried to the box. He gave us an extra, cold lamb pizza that someone had forgotten to collect to make up for the late food, then when I asked where the rest of our order was he threatened to take the cold lamb second hand pizza back. Then he tried to give us a chicken burger instead of nachos. After debating for about five minutes and insisting we didn’t order the burger the guy finally gave us nachos. Every time we’ve gone in theyve put sweet chilli and mayo on the nachos - when I asked for it, the guy insisted that you don’t get sauce. I eventually asked my friend to go in and ask for sauce which the guy gave to her. The chicken and chips was fine.
The guy I dealt with was SO rude. The food was subpar and definitely not up to standard. I used to come here all the time and order off Uber eats, but I definitely won’t be back.
Complete rip off for food and service. This person completely let down the business and it’s usual standard.
Edit in response to owner: I'm not surprised "none of the staff were aware" - it was shameful behaviour and attitude. I'm sorry to hear that not only can they behave that way, but they've either "conveniently forgotten" or they're just blatantly dishonest. My friend was with me and there were other people who witnessed the occurrence. I believe the incident occurred on the 30th of Jan or around that date. My fries could literally snap in half and you could scrunch them to a powder if you wanted. Clearly noting people who had a few drinks and seeing what they could pass off. I went to the counter with a few of the pieces of chicken that were literally inedible (not all) and the fries and my god did she kick off. So insanely rude. Refused to swap the food out, refused a refund. Making me put it in the bin instead of her, shouting and making a scene in an attempt to intimidate me so I would just give in. Got sweared at by another customer because they thought I cut in front of them but the truth is that I was first in line when the other customer was trying to pay! But more furious that the server at cashier did not explain anything at all that there was people trying to pay in front of me when I try to order.Then the misunderstanding happen with them thinking we cut in line while they were trying to pay for their food but they were not in line while I was trying to pay for my freaking food. Next time I wish that the cashier person fully explain there was another person trying to freaking pay for their own meal.
