RE Burger Grafton — Restaurant in Waitematā

This place was recommended as a hidden gem in Auckland... And it sure is.The food in the pictures from left to right is the Royal big smoke burger,BBQ bacon fries(Medium) and the Famous castle burger. The portions were good,both burgers were tasty and the pickles etc on the burgers were fresh and generous in size. The fries,was real tasty with the smoky tasting bacon over it. A bonus is that one can see as a business they really are trying to be more environmentally conscious if one looks at their compostable cutlery and paper straws(the good quality ones,not the ones that get soggy after a few minutes). There isn't a lot of space to sit inside but funny enough half the seating was empty most of the time as most of the customers it seems pop in for a take away dinner.There is more seating available outside if you wish to sit outside. They are also wheelchair friendly which is great.There is a bathroom available (cannot comment on that as I did not check that out,sorry)I can imagine the bathroom would be pretty clean as the restaurant itself is also quite clean,as is the kitchen. One can see a large part of the kitchen aswell btw. Also saw a couple of uber eats pickups whilst there. I was there on a Saturday night,so one of the busier times I might think. All that considered the food was still ready in about 10 to 13 minutes,that gave me some time to check out the two arcade games (packed full of the old classics,hundreds of games). For a truely hidden gem i can really recommend Re burger!They will see my business...

We wanted to try this place out and close to work and decided to pop in for dinner before battling the drive home in Auckland traffic. Parking isn’t the greatest so you might have to wait or end up double parking or on yellow lines which is a big no, no in Auckland. We ordered a chicken and bacon burger combo and chicken tenders combo with special sauce. The chicken in the chicken burger was on the dry side but the tenders in the other combo was very tasty and juicy and bread roll crispy and delicious so would def try them again and fries for both meals were on, the special sauce just wasn’t that special. Have to say your staff seem disinterested in their jobs, not very friendly especially with people queuing up. Would have been nice for them to explain to customers why they had to wait for buzzers when they had a whole stack behind the counter, we were just told you have to wait for other orders. Unfortunately you can’t complete your order till a buzzer is available, so we and another customer we’re standing at the screens waiting for them to stack some buzzers in front of us, we had to wait approx 10-12 mins. Ambience is a chill vibe and there is a decent outdoor area as well it was just cold sitting out there, but the inside was crowded so we had no choice. Free street fighter game which was good entertainment as you wait. Service and cooking time for burger pattie’s just needs...

We decided to try Re burger on friends advice of how awesome they are... We used online ordering, and booked our meal at 7.55pm and made pick up time for 8.30pm....when we arrived it wasn't even in their system ( after placing an $82 order)...we were told it was a fault on the sites behalf and said they would smash it out now and put us at front of the queue , which was not to be true due to 4 other people coming in and placing an order after us and receiving before ours...made me mad 😡....we waited for an extra 25min for our order and left disappointed at 9pm ..no compensation for anything and disappointing that my 1st experience in a well known business was sub par.... And we came from Christchurch so I'll be hesitant to try it again now... With the food, family found it enjoyable but over sauced and a bit dry...

After a follow up from the store owner who has handled our review with swift and great communication my opinion has been changed...where the 3rd party app was more of the problem than the service we received on our experience.....if I had of dealt directly with the store I'm sure it would have been a better experience....I appreciate your time and professionalism Adam....Re burger Auckland we will see you again in...
