Dine in here today really disappointed with the service . We come here often but recently stopped due to lockdown. We went back today to dine and really disappointed on how it changed a lot. Service- really bad, no greetings when you come in to the restaurant, there are 3 waitress and most of them are chatting to themselves, hanging out in one corner not paying attention to customers, no instructions was given when menu is hand out we are so clueless that when we placed order we have to mark the menu and indicate the number or orders we wanted. One of the waitress comes in and hand out a pen to us and say “mark what you want and circle what you want” with a condescending tone. Luckily, the head chef which is the usual chef there since before lockdown was friendly to us and paying attention to what we order. None of the waitress comes back to follow up our orders, it was a quiet time and not too many people. Waitresses kept chatting, laughing loud and hanging out in one corner. Food- quality changes a lot and quantity itself. Kanikama ship is way TOO salty. Wagyu beef serving is not properly portioned no consistency in serving size. Karaage- overcooked and nearly burned Toilet- so gross, dirty and filthy, too many toilet papers on the floor- staff could have cleaned it. Toilet should always be clean these days due to covid anyways for health and safety. This place is way better before lockdown, hence the reason we choose this restaurant to dine in for the first time since march lockdown, staff are way friendly before and clean. Changes is good but this is NOT a good change. It...

Firstly I feel very disappointed about the customer service today, I went there with my family and was a guy greeting us. We asked him where do we sit and he answered on the side, and then he walked away. We not sure which side should we sit so we just choose somewhere to sit, after the guy came and he asked we to move to another side, but when we sit down and he came again to ask on eof us to move again to the corner. We were very unhappy about that so my husband asked him why does he ask us to move again and again and why not asking other people, and the guy answers “because you guys 3peoole so have to sit like that” ! We really don’t understand why did he do that to us but be honest, i dont think he is well trained and good at customer service at all! I sincerely hope the company can take a serious concern with their customer service! By the way, the service before wasnt like that, it was excellent before! However i will keep telling my friends i know about my...

My partner and I always come here when we're free. The service is excellent and the chefs are lovely. Their sushi is always fresh! I also noticed they have a code (in how they arrange their sushi on the plate) which rotates each hour so they know what to get rid of. They are accommodating on my partner's gluten intolerance, gf soy sauce available on request. Sushi can be adjusted to GFriendly when ordered. Takeaway is available but whyyyyy? Come sit and enjoy! All sushi plates are $3.90, price for food coming out of the kitchen cost more, this venue does have a holiday charge. Typical spend between two people can be around $40-50. There are steps so it's inaccessible for wheelchair users and they only have one toilet. Split payment available, just stack the dishes you want to pay for...

Oh, Sushi Train. How delightful you are, but so dangerous for my wallet if I don't keep a close eye on the plates! We visited on a Thursday lunchtime and the place was not too busy. The set up looks clean and it feels nice to just sit and watch the sushi roll past and the chefs at work in the centre. The price per plate is now $3.90 which reflects the usual price of sushi in many places nowadays... I did enjoy my visit here today - the nigiri and other items were all very fresh and tasty. I think the portions per plate could be a little more generous perhaps. I would recommend ordering fresh if you can wait, as fun as the "train" is. It's a good time, but for those on a budget like me, there's a reason why you'd usually just go for the local sushi shop instead :)

Sushi Train, does exactly what it says on the tin. Clean, simple, calm aesthetic. Definitely book in advance, but you can leave your number to be added to the walk-in list. There’s lots to do in the area if you need to kill 20-40 minutes. Tables are setup perpendicular to the train - fit more people in as groups I guess - and then it’s just a standard sushi train experience… with the exception of the robot delivery for dishes! Nice quirk 😀 Food was lovely. All regular dishes are NZD$4.99 per plate, and you can pay extra for specials and a few other a la carte options. Come here if you want a chill sushi train experience, not if you want to be loud or boisterous. Good for families and groups.
