Ellen Melville Centre — Local services in Waitematā

Right in the heart of the city, on one side of Freiburg place , the Ellen Melville centre is a wonderful community resource. I really like the size of the downstairs space , the furniture is modern and comfortable. There's a free kitchen with a 1970s hatch where you can make your own cups of tea and coffee. we had our drinks on the tables outside overlooking freiburg place and everything that was going on at 10:30 on a Wednesday morning. Inside people were sitting on high stools at a bench table working or catching up on their social media endeavours. Staff members were on-site and were friendly and welcoming.
