Churrasco — Restaurant in Lagos State

This is an experience we should all go through at least once in life - unlimited meat supply. I think there are few that love meat as much as I do and I was super excited to try this out.

What I found interesting is that no matter how much you love meat, it is very easy to get full on it and tired of it. Very quickly I got to the point where I had to tell them to stop (there is a sign on your table that says Go on one side and Stop on the other and when you have had enough you turn it to stop).

I found all that meat to be on the somewhat dry side though. I think you need some great sauces to make meat enjoyable but this one comes dry. Was not as enjoyable as I thought I would find it. They have chili sauce, ketchup and things like that but I think you need much better sauces. Think cooked sauces would make this experience super perfect.

The atmosphere is perfect as you are sitting right in front of the Lagos lagoon with a view of Ikoyi on the other side.

Great service and as is typical with Lebanese owned restaurants, the owner goes around making sure everyone is happy, enjoying the food and is well served. It is not by accident that they have taken over the hospitality business in Nigeria and Ghana.

It was a joy dining at Churrasco again with my wife. The ambience was great, the music was cool and soothing.

Now the food was amazing. The salad was fresh, the fried rice was well executed and so was the cous cous. The variety of protein that we were inundated with was overwhelming and the house finally won.

The mocktails were great and very filling.

I enjoyed my dinner date and look forward to going back there again. It was not also as pricey as I thought...
