Fusion steak house & sushi — Restaurant in Lagos State

The place is beautiful and table 24 is litterally ON THE WATER with a light breeze. Starters (mango prawns and chicken gyosa) were good. And so were the Sushi. Mains were too irregular. Almond fish was ok'ish while miso black cod was very good. Vwrt disappointing was the Meat (picanha) was truly below standard: it was chewy and came cold. It should have been braised on super hot fire...which it was not. Meat should have been dry aged. It is pity as it was the most expensive. I don't talk about the accompanying French fries that came cold and soggy. The meat is very expensive and definitely NOT WORTH IT. Desserts: nothing to write home about. The mochi was fine but the ice cream that goes with it was "average" from the supermarket. They didn't have crime brulée because the chef who makes it was on holiday. Then we asked for coffee. They had espresso but not café latte because the coffee shop across the compound was closed...can't they make a latte in a restaurant? Thank God the service...

I love love love the ocean view you get when you sit out. Good service… Loved the fact that the manager was really interested in the satisfaction of the customer.

Loved the drama that came with preparing the steak. Oh you get complimentary bread as well. Thankfully 😅.

We had the prawns as starter (this tasted really really really nice with soy sauce). Had steak and sides for main meal + a bottle of wine. A total of 83k was spent.

Quite pricey and food quantity was pretty small.

There’s enough parking as well. There’re private sitting areas and it’s somewhat an obscure area for my private people.

There’re 5 different cuisines and 3 different restaurants in ‘the Lagoon’ : Churassco, Fusion steakhouse and the Lagoon.

This is definitely one of the top 10 places in Lagos for me. Love the environment. Are here few times, both sushi and the steak and both are done well. The quality of the fish is fantastic. Highly recommend the fish carpaccio, that was actually my favorite meal. They mixed up our order and brought large sashimi instead of sushi, but it was good nonetheless. When came for steak dinner, chose the aged ribeye and it was delicious. It comes with free sides but very small portions, so we got extra fried rice too. Very good wine selection.
