Our experience was nice. It's a pretty atmosphere, very cozy and nicely lit with elegant decor, real candles and flowers but paper napkins (the nice kind). The service was very good, our servers were extremely pleasant and prompt with a sparkling smile and knowledgeable about the menu items in English. We are hotel guests from the US. Why the 3 stars? Well, unfortunately the food was not up to the level of the rest of the atmosphere. Perhaps it is cultural differences but I found it all to be extremely oversalted and the teriyaki sauce for the broccolini was cloyingly sweet. The ingredients separately were correct (nice mushrooms, crispy kale, Jerusalem artichoke puree, a gorgeous large piece of cod, properly cooked). But once they were cooked together and under the sauces (way too sweet, way too salty) the food was, to my view, ruined. Almost like they had the right ingredients and the right menu plan but the person who cooked it didn't bother to taste it or something. My son had no complaints about his burger. But the french fries were the correct shape but no longer like potatoes, they were more like potato chips or freeze-dried potatoes where they were just crispy dry sticks instead of having any soft moist potato inside. Have to give the food a "meh" rating, although it doesn't seem like it would take much to get it to be an actually good restaurant. Expensive too, but I heard everything here is, so I'm not taking off...

Booked this restaurant for my brothers birthday dinner. We walked in and were greeted with a “you want to eat here?” … well we have a reservation so yes that would be great! We were sat at a table inside and the venue looked very elegant and nice, we received our menus and then waited about 15 minutes before my brother had to get up and ask for some service as there were 4 staff all chatting in the bar…. We got served, order meal and a cocktail each + some table water, 1x cocktail came out and the bartender then came out to say he couldn’t make a whiskey sour as he has a burn on his hand….. cmon mate you have 2 hands, also if it’s that bad, then he shouldn’t be working, where’s the care for the staffs wellbeing?? Eventually mains came out, I’d like to say this turned the night around but it just got worse, catch of the day was terrible, and the shrimp linguine, was missing shrimps!

Overall if I could give 0 stars I would. Clearly this is bad management, and it’s a shame that young staff have to take the brunt of it because they don’t get trained properly and no one is there to help them!

A joke of an establishment and a terrible way to spend my...

Don’t usually leave reviews but had to based on our poor experience. Arrived an hour before the restaurant closed, ordered quickly, served our wine while awaiting dinner. 30 minutes go by and order another glass of wine when dinner hasn’t arrived. Server then explains that the order was lost and re-confirms our dishes. 15 minutes go by and my entree but not my wife’s emerges from the kitchen. I sit with my salad in front of me refusing to eat till she gets her food for 20 more minutes. No one comes by to check on us. Our original server leaves the establishment without returning to our table. The kitchen is closing and I have to walk up to the staff to get the order made. It then takes another 20 minutes to make the order which we have placed in a to-go container. We are offered 20% off as compensation. Food was mediocre at best after all this. Would...
