On our first day in Norway we found this restaurant looking for a place to eat. Not sure about our daughter loving the buffet, the owner took the time to show us the meals and explained all the dishes. During our meal the owner regularly came to see everything was ok and even proposed drinks and dessert to our daughter that weren't included in the buffet. We had the opportunity to try several real Norwegian dishes for a very reasonable price. This is not an all you can eat crappy buffet, but a place were you find very good quality (viking snacks and whale meat for example), served with love. And yes, here also, you can eat as much as you can. This place should be promoted by the Norwegian tourist office.

the only nice thing about this restaurant is the staff working here. the food was terrible, most of it seemed store bought, it was cold and been sitting there for quite some time. went with my boyfriend and we were seated in this giant table for ten people and some other people we didnt know were seated with us, despite of many other empty tables, which was extremely awkward experience. the whole place is just a big empty room with concrete walls, some tables and plastic trees in between tables. i feel ripped off my money and will not be coming back.

We really appreciated this restaurant for our family with two teenagers. It was nice to try a lot of different Norwegian things in one sitting and everything was tasty. There was enough different food that everybody could find something. The staff were kind and helpful. It's a cute atmosphere, designed to be traditional and while some might criticize it, I would say it was kitschy and worth it. It wasn't busy when we visited and there's lots of space for many people and definitely family-friendly.

THE ONLY WAY TO TRUELY EXPERIENCE NORWAY 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Everyone must try this experience where you not only experience authentic Norwegian food from Rain Deer to Whale marinated in Aquavit, a Norwegian liquor, you are greeted and guided through this culinary adventure personally by the staff who are dressed in traditional Norwegian attire.

The ambiance is very relaxed and not loud... unless the guests are loud.

You are experiencing the culinary journey dining at traditional dining table as though you are a guest at someone's home.

Don't leave Norway without visiting Bergen, a true Norwegian city with the soft spoken ancient polite coulture.
