Authentic Indonesian Flavors in the Heart of Oslo
We had an amazing lunch experience at Boboko Indonesian Restaurant, and it truly satisfied both our taste buds and our longing for authentic Indonesian soul food.
We tried the Nasi Bebek Sambal Ijo and Nasi Campur Bali, and we highly recommend both. The nasi bebek was delicious, crispy duck paired perfectly with the vibrant green chili sambal, full of flavors and comforting spice.
The Nasi Campur Bali was the real highlight. A rich and flavorful combination of tender chicken in a fragrant yellow sauce, fresh mung bean sprouts, sautéed morning glory, sambal, and perfectly seasoned sate lilit topped with sambal matah. If I’m being picky, I wish the meat in the rendang was a bit more tender, but the taste totally makes up for it. Pro tip: get extra sauce! Trust me! Since you order through your phone, the trick is to add extra sambal and then let them know you want it swapped for extra sauce.
The staff are super friendly too, which just makes the whole experience even better. It’s one of those places you leave already planning your next visit. So happy we finally have Indonesian...
