English ver. Extremely bad, dont come if u wanna grab some real sushi or sashimi.
I am a Japanese and I can tell that sushi and sashimi are totally different. Sushi is some sumeshi(rice with vinegar) with a piece of sashimi(slices of raw fish) on top. Sashimi should not be served with rice.
The problem is, I ordered a sashimi combo (189kr) as the picture shown. I was confused.
It was served with rice! It is not a sashimi! The scallops are so thin that I couldn't even taste it! It's just a bit thicker than my nail. The tuna has gone stale, and tasted very bad.
That's my comment for the sashimi, and the another problem is, there is a customer sit behind my table. She ordered a udon(a kind of thick noodle), but a ramen(a noodle that is much much much thinner) was served instead.
She complained about it, but the staff kept saying that it was udon. A real udon is shown on the menu, but the staff then said that udon was sold out, and it is a thinner version so call "udon" in Oslo. How could u tell the customer that a product is sold out after u served it, and you just lied which it is totally different from the image on the menu.
It is just crazy and I will never come to this restaurant again. Maybe u can deceive foreigners who don't know about sushi, but don't do this on us. Again, both the food and service are extremely bad, not recommended.

Read moreThe male owner is extremely rude.
1- they are located in a high traffic tourist area and don't offer English menus.
2- I came in and was waiting for 2 members to join me, and the owner tried to kick me off the table that had (3 people only sign). I was able to communicate I had more people joining me.
3- My family arrived and he never offered any water or extra menus. So my aunt had to sit beside me to look at the menu. The owner came and tried to get my aunt to sit at the chair and kept repeating himself 3x. My aunt was just trying to look at the single menu we had.
4- After that I decided to spend my money elsewhere.
Leaving this review in Norwegian as well hopefully more people become aware at how atrocious the customer service is in this establishment.
Read moreHaving lived in Asia for many years and eaten Sushi mostly in Japan, I can confirm that this is the most authentic sushi we’ve had in the Nordics (short of going to a high end much more expensive Omakase restaurant). Prepared only after ordering and to the guest’s wishes. Quick, very clean and tasty. It’s run by what seems to be a nice Chinese couple and hence there are also some Chinese inspired dishes on the menu but misses some Japanese classics such as Miso soup). Highly recommended for a...
