Five hours exploring, one cosy shop, delicious smells, MrBowl is that rare eatery that leaves you excited about food again.

The prices are amazing and afforable, with bellyfilling meals for £13.40. Several dishes stand out: chicken noodles, marinated chicken and scampi fried rice.

Inside, you will find a few tables but it might be best to take-away as the shop fills quickly.

Mrbowl has been around for 3-years according to the locals and is a major obsession, despite the long waiting times, which I understand considering the quality of food and flavour.

Most of all, the owner is phenomenal. He should offer a masterclass on customer service - I would pay. Phenomenal.

Tried the Scampi Noodle and fried rice chixken at this place 🍤🍜.

⏳ It took quite a while for our food to come out, even though we were the only ones dining in. It seemed like they were focused on a lot of online orders at the time. It is alright but i'd appointment if I knew the waiting time in advance.

🍛 When it arrived, the noodles were okay but nothing special—a bit on the greasy side and the ingredients felt just average.

👩‍🍳 It also felt like they might have been a little understaffed. There was no one at the counter, and while ordering through the tablet was fine 👍, it was tricky to get anyone’s attention to adjust the order.

Mainly a takeaway place, Mr Bowl offers plenty of options to suit everyone at a reasonable price. Seating is limited - can take 8 people easily, though. Very clean and compact. A nice warm spot on a cold night. Our meals were prepared after we ordered and came out nice and fresh. They accommodated our “no garlic” request without hesitation. A variety of bottled beverages in a cold case gave us plenty of choices. Our order included sesame chicken, double fried chicken, and chicken fried rice bowls. Portions were very generous and tasty.
