People's — Restaurant in Oslo

I was here quite early looking for lunch, and boy was I not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly, and my cappuccino was in front of me less than 5 minutes after sitting down. It was a very good cappuccino at that!

My full English took a bit longer to arrive, but it was worth the (still very short ) wait . I can't say it was the best one I've ever had, but certainly one of the best I've had outside the UK. It avoided some of the common pitfalls, like soggy mushrooms. The components were all either good or solid, except the bread, which was excellent. I don't think I've ever been served a full English with a lovely slice of quality sourdough before, but I love that this place changed that.

The location is convenient and no doubt usually quite nice, but right now there's some construction going on just outside that kind of ruins it a little. Hardly a problem though, I'd just encourage sitting inside.

Cozy place with very big meals, fast service and affordable prices (around 250NOK per person) I arrived there with group of friends for having late-lunch, we have ordered two burgers, mine was Chevere one and I really liked it, my friend also ordered enchiladas which came with salsas, guacamole and salad. All burgers always with fries in price. It was nice experience, what I can surely say the meal size is really big, we were full after it so as for Oslo is not a heap place I would say this one was good one for that amount of freshly prepared food. My burger was good balance of classic burger with freshness and modern mix because they added beetroot dip (I liked it!) and under beef baked slice of beetroot which was good idea. I would recommend visit if you came there, I have tried enchiladas as well, it was good, maybe not traditional ones but surely tasty! All of us were satisfied. PS. They give free tap water...

Awesome and great food!!!! Excellent burgers, i always choose this place to get a decent burger, meat is perfect and the taste heavenly, top 10 on my list for a gourmet burger in Oslo. You won't regret it, i usually pick the one with a sunny side egg on top and switch the cheese with cheddar, then the fries with sweet potato fries, real treat and a bit healthier!
