We had an enjoyable dinner and evening at this place - it feels authentic and chaotic in the good way. Waiters very friendly and fun. Overall good food. Combined, making it a good choice of place for an evening with friends or family.

First off - service. As mentioned friendly and they knew their menus well. Plus for that. Did take a bit of time in the beginning before we could order, but it was indeed a busy Saturday evening.

Secondly, food. The thing that matters the most. We had a starter of Parma and burrata, which both were fresh and tasty. Good quality bread. Some extra olive oil on the table would have been ideal. Pastas were all al dente and flavourful, and I did not find the portions as small as other reviews have mentioned. What I do agree with is that the carbonara is too salty, despite being given a heads up from the waiters. A bit less salt would lift the dish in my opinion. Cheesy meatballs were the winner of the night.

Food prices just as expected in Oslo, wine list on the pricier side.

Overall a fun and tasty place to kickstart a night...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Outstanding Pasta Experience! I just had one of the most memorable dining experiences at this pasta bar, and I can’t stop raving about it! The pasta was absolutely phenomenal - perfectly executed in every way. The taste, texture, and flavoring were all spot-on, striking that ideal balance where nothing was too salty or too bland. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and attention to detail. I can honestly say this ranks among the best pasta I’ve ever had!

But the real showstopper? The tiramisu! This dessert was nothing short of extraordinary - truly out of this world and easily the best I’ve encountered. It was the perfect end to an already incredible meal. PS: the tiramisu is Luca’s grandma’s recipe!

The service matched the quality of the food beautifully. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, making the entire evening feel special and welcoming. Their warm hospitality really enhanced the whole dining experience.

If you’re looking for exceptional pasta in a welcoming atmosphere with top-notch service, this...

I stumbled upon a hidden gem that enchanted me - an authentic Italian restaurant was a journey to the heart of Italy. From the warm and cosy ambience to the impeccable service, every aspect of the experience was truly magical. Despite a slight delay in the food's arrival, the staff's attentiveness and generosity made up for it, offering my friends complimentary coffee and my second dish free of charge. The Pappardelle porcini e tartufo, La Tagliata, Insalata di Polipo, Pasta con i gamberi e zucchini, and Tiramisu were all outstanding, each delivering a burst of authentic flavours that transported me back to Italy.

The carefully curated wine selection perfectly complemented the dishes, enhancing the dining experience.

My favourite pizza restaurant in Oslo is Girotondo, and I found out that this is from the same owners; I recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable taste of Italy in Oslo.

Grazie mille ❤️
