This place has a really nice and cozy atmosphere. Greek music playing in the background, seating for over 30 people, and is very clean, and has a nice fire place. The service was very friendly.
I decided to order from their grill menu, I got the chicken gyro. Overall, I was impressed, this may be the best Greek meal I have had. I will say I do not eat Greek food often and have not been to Greek.
The chicken was tender, warm, and seasoned perfectly. The fries were crispy on the outside, and soft in the middle. The fries stayed crispy throughout my time eating the meal. The salad was fresh and the tzatziki was flavourful. The portion size was large and filling. I was really happy with the meal, it was delicious, fresh, and very satisfying.
The only feedback I would have is that fries felt slightly oily, not by a lot, but just a bit. Maybe they need to dry it a bit more with paper towel. I also felt the music was a bit loud, but I went there alone. If I was with friends, it may be a bit hard to talk.
Overall loved this restaurant, will certainly come back again to try other things...
Read moreI’ve tried both the Akropolis restaurant and their food truck, and while both are great, I actually prefer the food truck! The flavors are super fresh, the service is quick and friendly, and the whole experience just feels more vibrant and exciting. The restaurant is definitely solid—big portions, authentic Greek flavors, and a cozy, family-run vibe that locals clearly love—but something about the food truck hits even harder. I’d definitely recommend either one if you’re craving Greek food. One thing I’d love to see from both, especially the food truck, is more veggie options—there aren’t too many for vegetarians. And it would be amazing if they added Halal options in the future to make the menu more inclusive. That would take an already great experience to...
Read moreFrom the angle of value for money, it's one of the best restaurants in town. Following the Greek names of the dishes on the menu, at first sight, you’re not quite sure what they represent, but after a few words with polite and friendly personnel it all becomes clear. This time I had the dish "Kebabia" (a.k.a. cevapcici) and I can only say "Akropolis Greek Cuisine" shows how it should taste like. Place is perfect for a romantic dinner cause of its cosy atmosphere, especially if you chose a table by the wood burning fireplace. The restaurant is very spacious and it is operating...
