Agenturet Bar — Restaurant in Tromsø

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this super cute bar. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable on all their offerings, and I especially appreciate that they have proper stemware for all the different types of wine they serve. The service was top notch... they explained the differences in the various glasses I was considering, and even offered me tastes without me having to ask. I felt a bit bad for the bartender as they had to explain to everyone wanting to come in for food that they couldn't offer food that day (the restaurants they share the kitchen with had priority on New Year's Day)... The service is non existent!

The lady behind the bar was sat with her friends joking, while you have to wait for her to finish her insufferable behaviour to order.

There was no toilet or hand paper in the men’s toilet, maybe because the lady is too busy talking with her friends.

You also, have the ridiculous scan to order thing at the table, and it even insists you give a tip for service offered………….. (may I ask, WHY??? I want a response for this, please!) if you’re looking for and If you want a bit of character and an attentive response from the bartender, GO...

Agenturet is a craft beer and wine bar with a great selection of beers and probably wines as well though that is not something I know much about. The restaurant is quite cosy and nice to hang out at, the service is good and other customers are ok, it's not too rowdy even on weekends, though I prefer visiting on weekdays for few after work pints or on Sundays.
