Mixed feelings. I came in around 6 pm, the place was almost empty, I was told that every table was reserved. I was not offered a later time but as I insisted I was then told to come back at 8. When I returned everything was pleasant, the food was good, and the service was good too. That would be it, except I tried again a couple of days later, at 8:20 this time, and was turned away again. I was told that the kitchen was already closed, as it closes at 9 pm (the restaurant closes at 10) and when I pointed out that it was only 8:20 I was told that they already had too many people (the place was half full at most). Not only were we warmly welcomed, but the staff graciously agreed to keep the venue open later just to serve us. We were treated to excellent meals and genuine hospitality that went far beyond expectations. This wasn’t just a dinner—it was a rescue mission, and the owners truly were our heroes that night.
